Removing the cover panel

To remove the cover panel:

Observe the safety and ESD precautions in "Preventing static electricity
discharge" on page 15.

Turn off the server, then disconnect the power cord(s), modem cable (if
installed), and all external devices.

Carefully place the server on its right side with the back of the server
facing you.

Unlock the chassis (if applicable).

Remove the cover panel thumbscrew.
6
Slide the two release tabs on the back panel outward.
