The color monitor displays everything in black and white

before the monitor

Solution
Make sure the monitor is turned on, then
restart the server.
In the Control Panel window (Start | Settings |
Control Panel), double-click Display, set the
display to the appropriate monitor type, then
restart the server.
Solution
Make sure the cable and connectors are in
good condition (no bent pins or broken wires).
In the Control Panel window (Start | Settings |
Control Panel), double-click Display and
check the settings. Set the display to the
appropriate monitor type and a supported
resolution. See your monitor and video
controller documentation for more information.
