Status of the printer
• The pressurizing roller is lowered
• The MEDIA SET lamp is not lit
• The pressurizing roller is up
• The MEDIA SET lamp is flashing (green)
NOTE

You can also switch the up and down of the pressurizing roller using the foot switch in stead of the operation
panel.
4.5.3 Winding the roll media
After setting the roll media in the unit, it is possible to wind the roll media with the following procedure.
Perform winding of the media according to the procedure below.

During the winding operation, make sure to keep hands and fingers clear of
moving parts.
1. Verify the following regarding the condition of the unit.
• That it is not currently printing
2. Press the [F3] key of the control panel.
• Moves to the take-up menu.

Operation after the [F2] key is pressed
• The pressurizing roller is lifted
• The MEDIA SET lamp is lit (green)
• The pressurizing roller goes down
• The MEDIA SET lamp will turn off.
