REFRIGERATOR DIAGNOSTIC CHART
PROBLEM
Refrigerator not cold
Not running on DC
Not running on AC
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Compressor will not start
Thermostat set too high or on/off
switch is in the off position
Compressor starts but does not cool
fridge
Door latch not closing or door seal
not seated
Condenser dirty
Check for defective thermostat or
converter, low battery
Inadequate input voltage

Troubleshooting
POSSIBLE FIX
Turn breaker on at the main ship's
service panel
Reset thermostat or activate on-off
switch
Contact repair center
Adjust latch or replace seal
Remove fridge/clean coils with brush
or vacuum
Replace thermostat, converter or
battery
Make sure proper voltage exists on
ship's main AC panel.
