Cosmetic Care & Maintenance
The typical electric horn is
mounted on the hard top. At
the aft end of the horn under
the horn shell is a diaphragm
adjusting screw. If adjustment
is needed have someone depress
the horn switch and hold it while
the screw is adjusted for the
loudest decibel.
Also, periodically check the horn
assembly for debris and insect
nests. Use an auto grade chrome
cleaner on the horn assembly at
least annually. After each cruise,
rinse the horn assembly with
fresh water. Check the fasteners
for tightness annually along with
the deck sealant for complete
