Storage & Winterization MODELS W/ SEA KEY SYSTEM If you winterize or store your boat for an extended time, and it is not connected to shore power, it is recommended that you put the MSU into off season power mode. The power mode puts the MSU into a very low power state, minimizing the drain on the boat’s battery and the internal battery of the MSU.
