Operation-
The electronic remote control (ERC) handle controls
the shift and throttle operation. Push the remote control
handle forward from neutral to the fi rst detent which is
forward gear. Continue pushing the handle forward will
result in increased speed.
Pull the control handle from the forward position to the
neutral position to decrease speed. Pull the control han-
dle back from neutral to the fi rst detent for reverse gear.
Continue pulling the handle back to increase speed in re-
verse.
Note that the control handle tension and detent tension
may require periodic adjustment. using the adjustment
screws. See the maintenance section and the ERC control
box owner's manual.
