Systems
The dockside cord (sometimes called the shore power cord)
DANGER
as standard equipment contains four conductors;
!
White-neutral ungrounded conductor
PREVENT BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR FIRE!
NEVER USE EXTENSION CORDS
Green-grounding conductor
OR IMPROVISED CORDS
IN SHORE POWER/MARINA INLETS.
Red-ungrounded conductor containing 120 volts
USE ONLY APPROVED MARINE
SHORE POWER CORDS
Black-ungrounded conductor containing 120 volts
MATCHING THE ORIGINAL
WIRE GAUGE AND AMPACITY .
Select shorepower cords use a set of lighted icons which
indicate the condition of the plugged in connection. When
plugged in correctly a "green" LED light illuminates
WARNING
indicating there is power in the cord.

If a "red" LED light illuminates, there is incorrect wiring
at the power source (marina shore post). Call for marina
PREVENT SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH!
personnel to investigate the problem before attempting to
ALTERNATING CURRENT (AC) CAN KILL YOU!
energize the circuit.
DISCONNECT
ALL ELECTRICAL POWER SOURCES
Note: Yachts with an optional isolation transformer
BEFORE ATTEMPTING
minus the cord reel option create a neutral connection

This system uses the 50 amp dockside cord but the
neutral leg stops at the yacht's shore power inlet.
