POSSIBLE PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS-
WASTE SYSTEM
1. Toilet does not fl ush or fl ushing perfor-
mance is poor. The holding tank indica-
tor is lighted red at the toilet control panel
wall switch. The holding tank is full and
needs to be pumped out. Also, there could
be a clog at the water pump inlet.
2. No water in bowls during fl ush or add water cycle.
Check to make sure the main water supply has not been
turned off along with the fresh water pressure pump.
3. There is no light on the toilet wall control panel or it
does not stay lighted. Check the head breaker on the main
ship's control panel. Also, the wall panel could of entered
the Sleep mode cycle after 8 hours of inactivity.
4. There is an odor of sewage onboard. Check the vent
fi lter. It should be replaced annually at the beginning of
the boating season. Also, check the waste tank, fi ttings,
and related hoses throughout the vessel.
5. When running the overboard discharge system it is
not pumping out the waste. Check to make sure the deck
waste cap is securely fastened and O ring is not missing.
6. Macerator pump will not operate. Check breaker on
main ship's DC panel. Check to see that interlock valve
is opening since it controls power to the overboard dis-
charge pump.
