GAUGES/SWITCH PANELS
For normal dirt and dust accumulation clean with soft cloth
and warm water. Dry with a soft cloth or chamois.
Near salt water environments deposits can build up on
the instrument bezels and faces. Use a soft damp cloth to
remove the deposits. Do not use abrasives or rough, dirty
cloths to wipe instruments.
Follow the same procedure for all switch panels. Do not
use any of the following on panels:
1. Lacquer Thinner
2. Dry Cleaning Fluid
3. Acetone
4. Carbon Tetrachloride
5. Benzine
6. Silicone Spray
7. Gasoline
Sometimes gauges develop condensation
inside their faces. in high humidity
e n v i r o n m e n t s. To e l i m i n a t e t h e
condensation droplets, energize the
instrument lighting and the heat over a
short period of time This process will evaporate the gauge
condensation.
