NIB-96 Network Interface Board
Protected Premises Unit (Slave)
Annunciator Point: AssP1
The first point of the NIB-96 interface reports
any trouble condition in the Protected Premises
to the Central Station. If the installer fails to pro-
gram the Protected Premises Unit properly,
leaving fire alarm initiation devices without a cor-
responding NIB point, an alarm from such an ini-
tiating device will cause the first NIB point to in-
dicate a default fire alarm condition at the Cen-
tral Station.
Annunciator Point: AssP2
ARES - Select the ARES Type ID if reset of the
Protected Premises Unit is to be
permitted at the Central Station.
AMON - Select the AMON Type ID if reset of
the Protected Premises Unit is not to
be permitted at the Central Station.
