Ringing Line Preference allows a station user to answer any outside ringing
line by going off-hook without having to press the Answer key or the Flexible
Line key associated with the ringing line.
Terminal Type:

Using a station where Ringing Line Preference is assigned:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Talk with the calling party.
