● Remove the front axle nut.
● Support the motorcycle by jack or wooden block.
● Remove the front wheel by removing the front axle
shaft.
● Remove the front fender. (Refer to page 8-3)
● Loosen the front fork cap bolt ① , then draw out
the fork spring.
CAUTION
Use caution when removing the front fork cap
bolt since the spring force is applied to the cap
bolt.
● Loosen the front fork clamp bolts ② .
● Remove the front fork.
● Invert the fork and stroke it several times to
remove the oil.
● Hold the fork inverted for a few minutes.
● Remove the socket bolt ③
wrench.
● Seperate the fork pipe ④
with the hexagon
and pipe seat ⑤ .
