◈ Step 2
1) Lift and support the side cover with the side cover
stay. (Refer to page 2-2)
2) Turn the ignition switch "
3) Disconnect the TP sensor coupler.
4) Check the continuity between � and ground.
TP sensor continuity
5) If OK, then measure the TP sensor resistance
(between � and �).
6) Turn the throttle grip and measure the resistance.
TP sensor resistance
Throttle valve is closed
Throttle valve is opened
Tester knob indication : Resistance (Ϊ Ϊ )
Are the resistance and continuity OK?
YES Go to Step 3.
● Reset the TP sensor position
correctly.
NO
● Replace the TP sensor with a
new one.
