The hose connector to cylinder 4 must be litted in such a
way that the clamping screw is turned inward by app.

(to ensure sufficient play at the throttle butterfly shaft).
Continue installation by lollowing the same procedure but
in the reverse sequence.
Air cleaner element - checking, removing and
installing
To check the air cleanerlorcontamination , increase
engine speed to
2/3
01 the nominal speed and read off the
COvalue.
Remove the air cleaner element and repeat the above
procedure. II the CO value is now signilicantly lower, the
air cleaner element must be renewed.

RS, RT, L T: Remove and instalilower lai ring
(Group 46).
Pull the air intake line out olthe bottom section olthe air
cleaner housing and pull it off the intake stub.
Slacken offthe retaining clips (arrows) on the air cleaner
housing.

a better illustration.)
Note:
Front retaining clip opens lrom the bottom upwards.
