Lid for water pump

removing
Slacken off the water pump cover retaining
screws
(arrows) and
take
offthe cover.
Combined water/oil pump
-
removing
Release
the hose
clip atthe water pump and pull
the
water
hose
offthe pump
housing.
Disconneclthe
oil pressure
li
ne
and
insert it
in
the hole in
the pump housing. Slacken off the
pump
housing
retaining
screws
(arrows)
and
pull off the pump
.
Note:
Note
the
O-ring (water passage).
Oil sump
-
removing
Remove
the
screws holding the oil sump (arrows) and
take offthe oil
sump.
(To provide a better
illustration here,
the engine
has been
turnedthrough 90°.)
