Lift the coolant equalizing tank out of the holder and
secure it to the frame with wire or similar.
Slacken off retaining screws (arrows) and remove the
alternator cover.
Slacken offthe!wo retaining screws (arrows) atthe starter
motor.
Pull the starter motor out of the intermediate flange.
Detach the c1utch cable (arrow) and pull it out ofthe
gearcase.
