Models with
rear
disc brake
Remove rear brake:
Remove both brake caliper
retaining
screws (arrows)
.
Set down brake caliper with
retaining
bracket.
Note:
00 not operate the brake pedal while the brake caliper is
dismantled.
Remove the spring strut:
Note:
Belore removing the spring strut, sec ure the swinging arm
in a suitable manner (with wire, a piece 01 wood, straps
etc.) to prevent
itfrom
lalling.
"the swinging arm
is
allowed
to lall,
the
rubber drive
shaft
sleeve
will
become damaged, allowing contamination and
moisture to penetrate and resulting
in long-term damage.
Remove the
hex
nut
(arrow) on the
lower
spring strut
mounting and pull the spring strut off the threaded boll
(slacken offthe upper spring strut mounting
il
necessary).
Remove the rear wheel drive:
Remove lour rear-wheel drive retaining screws on the
swinging arm and pull offthe
drive
(tap rear wheel
drive!
swinging arm connection
lightly
with a plastic mallet il
necessary to release).
