Radiator-removing and installing
Remove fuel tank

Remove radiatorfairing

remove storage compartments

K 100 RS, RT, LT: remove kneepadsand
lowerfairing
sections.
Remove radiator fairing.
Slacken offthe drain screw (arrow) and drain offthe
coolant.
Note:
Slacken offthe filler cap to drain the system more quickly.
Release
the
hose clip (1) on the
top right
of the
radiator
and
pull
offthe
hose.
Pull out the air
intake line
from the bottom section ofthe air
cleaner
housing
and
pull it
off the
intake
stub.
Slacken off the
intake
stub retaining screws at the
radiator
and take offthe stub.
Release
the hose
clips (arrows) atthethermostat
housing
and
pull
off the
hoses.
Release the hose
Clip (arrow) at
the radiator
and pu
ll
off
the hose.
