Handlebar-removing and installing
Remove tuel tank (see Group 16).
Disconnect plug connection tor handbrake light switch
and clutch switch under tuel tank.
Lever off marked disc tor ignition lock with a small
screwdriver.
Push retaining hooks on either side tor ignition lock
inwards with a small screwdriver and push the ignition
lock down to remove .
Release the retaining screws (arrows) and take off the
impactpad.
Right handlebar fitting - removing
Remove the cover trom the throttle operating mechanism.
Using actuating cam (1), pull the chain through until the
cable can be disconnected atthe end ofthe chain (arrow).
Pull off the twistgrip.
When installing:
Betore assembly, grease the actuating cam, twistgrip
teeth and handlebar end.
When assembling, make sure that the mark on the tooth
ot the twistgrip is aligned with the mark on the actuating
cam.
Remove retaining screw (arrow) and take offthe switch.
