Warning:
Comply with safety precautions when handling or
working with fuel; note that the fuel lines are pressu-
rised.
– Remove fuel tank ( 16.5).

Important:
Disconnect ground lead from battery and insulate.
•
Remove the fasteners (arrows).
•
Pull Motronic control unit out of central plug.

Note:
Make sure that the seal at the central plug is cor-
rectly seated.
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.

Replacing air temperature sen-

•
Take off the left side section of the fairing
( 46.10).

•
Disconnect plug (1) of temperature sensor.
•
Remove temperature sensor (2).
•
Install temperature sensor in intake air silencer,

and tighten it.

Tightening torque:
Temperature sensor in
intake air silencer ......................................... 15 Nm
