H = minimum edge thickness

V = valve diameter
If dimension H is no longer present, the valve must be
renewed.
0 0 = Valve se at diameter
B = Valve seat width
It is essential to maintain the valve se at width when
regrinding .
Regrind valve seats with the correct tool (BMW No.
00 3 520).
Seats must not exhibit any chatter marks.
To check valves for leaks, fill the inlet and exhaust ports
with fuel. No fuel should leak past the valve heads.
