Using the Numeric keys (Manual Dialing)

Using the Numeric keys to dial is the most basic
method. Load your document, enter the fax num-
ber of the destination with the Numeric keys, and
press the Start key. It's that simple.

Check that the message "SET DOC. FACE
DOWN" is shown.
Example:
JUN. 8

- SET DOC. FACE DOWN -
Select the resolution based on the
characteristics of the document.

Place the document on the Document
Feeding Tray.

From the Numeric keys, enter the fax
number of the other party. Up to 32
characters can be entered for a fax number.
Example: 06-532-3276

Gain access to the PC connected to the
destination inputted.
To input "Sub Address," press the Up Arrow
Key once. Then, the display shows ";"
meaning that the input of "Sub Address" is
ready.
If you have entered a wrong number, press
the Left Arrow key, which will bring the

cursor back one position. Enter the correct
number.
