Changing the Toner Cartridge

The Toner Cartridge contains toner that can make up to 3,000 (Initial 3000, After 6000) Letter (or A4)
size prints. (The number of prints is calculated based on an average image density equivalent to a black-
to-white ratio of 5% or lower. The actual number of prints may be more or less depending on the image
density of the documents you receive.)
As the amount of toner available for use in the Cartridge becomes less and less, the print image gradually
gets lighter. If that happens, remove the Toner Cartridge from the fax, shake it two to three times, and
reinstall it in the fax. If this still does not make the image darker, follow the procedure given below to
replace the Toner Cartridge with a new one.
1
Pressing the Print Cover Lock Release
Button, swing open the Print Cover.
2
Lift the handle of the Toner Cartridge to the
upright position.
3
Remove the used Toner Cartridge from the
fax.
