Transmitting a Document Using External Extensions
(External)
The External Extensions (External) function switches lines when using a PBX.
Please contact your technical representative about the PBX connection.

Check that the message "SET DOC. FACE
DOWN" is shown on the Message Display.

Make the necessary settings and load the
document (so that the fax is ready to transmit

Enter the fax number to be called from the
Numeric keys and press the Start key.

Only manual dialing is possible with External.
One Touch Dial, Speed Dial, or Phone Book
cannot be used for dialing.
However, the external function is be able to
regist as One Touch Dial, or Speed Dial.
