4. Separate the Fuser Lamp Connector and the Thermistor Connector of the LVPS from the
Stepper Motor Board Frame by releasing the Locking Tabs and pushing the Connectors
through the hole in the Printer Base Plate. See Figure 8–1 .
5. Place the printer on a phone book or other similar item so that the Bottom Cover edges are
not resting on the item. Press gently to release the 2 Locking Tabs on the right side of the
Bottom Cover, then gently lower this side. Slide the Bottom Cover slightly to the right to
release the locking tabs on the left side, then lower the Bottom Cover away from the printer
and over the phone book. See Figure 8–3 .
