Checking Parking Brake
A Be sure to stop engine before checking parking brake.
1. Slowly raise the parking brake lever (1) to the ratchet sound
made by the parking brake lever.
2. If the No. of notch is not within the factory specifications,
loosen the lock nut (2) and turn the brake rod LH (3) and RH
(4) to adjust within acceptable limits.
3. Retighten the lock nut (2) securely..
Parking brake lever free travel
A Check the brake pedal free travel after adjusting the
parking brake.
A Refer to "BRAKE" section for detailed method.
