Remove the pins holding light source units 1 and 2.
1. Remove the two pins for light source unit 1 and
the pin for light source unit 2.
Install optional devices.
1. Install the optional devices (STDF, SRDF*
drawer/s, job separator, duplex unit*
and/or original cover* 2 ) as necessary (see the
respective installation manuals or service
manuals).
*1: Optional for 20 cpm copier only.
*2: Standard for Asia and Oceania specifications
of the 15 cpm copier.
Remove the image formation unit.
1. Open the front cover, bypass tray and the paper
conveying unit.
2. Remove the two screws. While pressing the hook
on the front image formation cover, pull the image
formation unit out.
