Replacing the Interface Cable

The standard host interface cable is attached to the base with a 15-pin D-type receptacle
connector. Tighten the holding screws to properly seat the interface connector. The
cable is designed to be field replaceable.
Auxiliary port cables use a 10-pin modular plug. To remove the auxiliary port cable,
press the dimple located on the bottom of the base underneath the auxiliary port and pull
the cable from the unit.

Order replacement cables from Intermec or from an authorized distributor.

When ordering a replacement cable, specify the cable part number of the original
interface cable.
