PRIORITY WATCH

Priority watch operation

D Memory/call channel and memory scan watch
q Select the VFO mode; then, set an operating frequency.
w Select the channel(s) to be watched.
For memory channel watch:
Select the desired memory channel.
For call channel watch:
Select the desired call channel.
For memory scan watch:
Select the memory mode, or the desired bank group.
Push and hold [SCAN](VFO/MHz) for 1 sec. to enter
the scan type selection.
Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired scan type, then
push [SCAN](VFO/MHz) again to start memory/bank
scan.
e Enter "PRIO" in SCAN set mode.

r Rotate [DIAL] to select "ON."
• Select "BELL" if the priority beep function is desired.
t Push [MENU

• "PRIO" indicator appears.
• The transceiver checks the memory/bank channel(s) or call
channel every 5 sec.
• The watch resumes according to the selected scan resume con-
dition. (p. 109)
