Identifying the Volume to Be Processed

The volume to be processed is determined by the copy group number and copy pair number output
in a message as follows:

Display the following STEM variable.
stem-name.CopyGroup..copy-group-number..Pair..copy-pair-number.Volser

Identifying the Volume Serial Number from the Configuration File

Use the following steps to acquire the volume serial number from the configuration file:
1.
Count the CopyPair tags from the beginning of the file and identify the CopyPair tag.
2.
The SerialNum under the identified CopyPair tag is the volume serial number to be processed.
Version 2.0 or later:
1.
Count the CopyGroupContainer tags from the beginning of the file and identify the
CopyGroupContainer tag.
2.
From the identified CopyGroupContainer tag, count the CopyPair tags from the beginning of
the file and identify the CopyPair tag.
3.
The SerialNum under the identified CopyPair tag is the volume serial number to be processed.

Explanation
The user does not have the permission to execute CLI commands.
If a reason code exists, it is displayed in the following format:
XXYYZZZZ:
XX: Lower 1 byte of SAF RC of the RACROUTE macro
YY: Lower 1 byte of RACF RC of the RACROUTE macro
ZZZZ: Lower 2 bytes of RACF Reason Code of the RACROUTE macro
If the reason code is 00000040:
The user who attempted to execute the command has been granted
only the view permission for the STGADMIN.YKA.BCM.YKQUERY
profile. Therefore, the user cannot execute CLI commands to
operate copy pairs, paths, and command devices.
If the reason code is other than the above:
The information returned from the RACROUTE REQUEST=AUTH
macro is displayed. For details, see the Security Server RACROUTE
Macro Reference.
An attempt was made to call a module that cannot be executed in Business Continuity
Manager. There might be a problem in the LINKLIB library settings. Specify the
Business Continuity Manager installation dataset for the LINKLIB library.
