Configuring the SNMP Trap Host IP Address

To configure the SNMPP Trap Host IP Address:
1. On the Main Menu, select Configure SNMP.
The SNMP Configuration Menu displays.

N. Configure System Name
L. Configure System Location
C. Configure SNMP Community
T. Configure SNMP Trap Host IP Address
2. Select Configure SNMP Trap Host IP Address.
The following instructions display on-screen:
Current SNMP Trap Host IP Address = 0.0.0.0
Enter new SNMP Trap Host IP address:
3. Type the IP address of the system setup for trap
operations or press ENTER to accept the default value
(0.0.0.0) that displays.
You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module
for any changes to take effect. For more information on
restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the
"Getting started" chapter.
You can use the Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) to
upgrade the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module software. To
use TFTP to upgrade, you must properly configure both the
PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module and the computer that
contains the TFTP Server program, a program that you must
purchase separately.
Before you can run TFTP, you must configure the IP address
of the Ethernet or SDSL Interfaces. For more information, see
the "Getting Started" chapter.
