The Avaya 7406 Digital Mobile Handset system operates on the same principle as a two-way radio. Therefore, the location of the base station affects the range of reception. The base station should not be installed where radio waves are blocked or reflected, such as next to a filing cabinet. -

The front port supports the handset with an installed battery pack. The rechargeable battery pack must be fully charged before you use your Avaya 7406 Digital Mobile Handset for the first time. The Avaya 7406 Digital Mobile Handset operates in the ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) 902-928 MHz band. The Avaya 7406 Digital Mobile Handset divides the ISM band into two sets of operating frequencies to allow the coexistence of other ISM devices. Examples of these products are SKU scanners and remote controls for products such as garage door openers and home theatre systems. -
