4. Select Update ACOS [acos.bin].

1. Receive via TFTP
2. Receive via XMODEM
5. Select Receive via TFTP.
6. Type the IP address of the TFTP Server, and then press
ENTER.
7. Type ACOS.bin, and then press ENTER.
It takes up to 2 minutes to download the file, and up to 30
seconds to save it to Flash memory.
You must restart the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module
for any changes to take effect. For more information on
restarting the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module, see the
"Getting started" chapter.
You can also upgrade the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module
software using TFTP via Telnet.

Using Telnet

To upgrade the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module software
using TFTP via Telnet:
1. Use a Telnet program to connect to the PARTNER ACS
1600 DSL module.
For more information, see the "Getting started" chapter.
2. Follow the procedures described in the "Using TFTP"
section.

Verifying the download

To verify that the file downloaded successfully
1. On the Main Menu, select System Utilities.
The Utilities Menu displays.
