Ensure that the cables are not under tension.
Seals and terminal diagram:
Select suitable seals to fit the cable entries of the controller.
n
Close open holes with blanking plugs. This is the only way of
ensuring a sufficiently tight seal.
Moisture in the controller can lead to functional malfunctions.

1.
Loosen the 4 housing screws.
2.
Slightly pull forward the upper part of the housing and insert
the top part of the housing into its parked position in the
lower part of the housing.
3.
Fitting the threaded connectors:
Fit the required number of cable glands with counter

nuts.
Close the remaining holes with sealing screws.
n
Tighten the threaded connectors to the specified torque,

4.
Route the cables into the controller.
5.
Connect the cables, as indicated on the terminal diagram.
6.
Tighten the clamping nuts of the threaded connectors until
they are properly tight,
7.
Attach the upper part of the housing to the lower part of the
housing.
8.
Manually tighten the housing screws.
9.
Once again check that the seal is seated properly. Degree of
protection IP 67 (mounted on a surface/pipe-mounted) or IP
54 (mounted on a control panel) (pollution degree 2/macro-
environment) can only be ensured if the device is correctly
mounted.
WARNING!
ESD-sensitive components
Possible consequence: fatal or very serious
injuries.
Adhere to the basic principles of ESD protec‐
tion whenever working.

The cables and lines used need to be suitable for the respective
operating voltage, be made of copper and have a temperature
resistance of ≥ 70 °C.
The cables need to conform to UL 2556 VW-1 or similar. The indi‐
vidual wires need to be mechanically fixed or secured to prevent
them from loosening from the connecting terminals.
