• Zero Shift Value Storage Area
RAM or Nonvolatile Memory:
The Unit has a forced zero function that will become active with external
signal input to the Unit. The RAM or nonvolatile memory can be selected
to store the zero shift value. The RAM is factory-set to store the zero shift
value.
Note The zero shift value stored in the RAM will be lost when the Unit is turned
OFF. The RAM should be used to store the zero shift value if the forced zero
function is frequently used. The zero shift value stored in the nonvolatile mem-
ory will not be lost when the Unit is turned OFF. The zero shift value stored in
the nonvolatile memory may not be, however, used more than 100,000 times.
Decide where to keep the zero shift value according to the application.
Each operation mode set command consists of a command code and param-
eter. The following command codes are used for the operation mode A and
operation mode B set commands.
• Operation Mode A:C000
• Operation Mode B:C200
Refer to pages 218 to 221 for the details of the parameters used for the Unit.
In this example, the following operation modes are selected for the Unit.
• Data Input:
• Timing Hold Mode:
• Input Type:
• Monitor Output:
• Input Sampling Speed: Fast
• No. of Averaging Process Times: 1
• Zero Shift Value Storage Area: RAM
In this example, the initial parameters have been set. Described below is the
method of changing the data input and input type using the operation mode A
set command.
1. The input word reads 1254, which is the present scaled conversion data,
and the output word reads 0000.
2. Set the command code C1000 to the output word to in order to set the op-
eration mode A. To input the letter C with the Programming Console, press
the Shift and 2 Keys.
The input word will be set to the response C000.
