Output a test pattern
Configure the output test pattern as follows:
1. Click the OUTPUT tab (see figure 50,

2. If necessary, click and drag the horizontal scroll bar (

NOTE: The Name field is locked in position and does not move.
3. Click the Test Pattern drop-down list for all outputs (
endpoints ( ) to select among the available test patterns (shown at right) or no test

pattern (Disabled).
NOTE: Test patterns are for debug and setup purposes. They let you validate a video
signal path in the system and setup the displays connected to the outputs.
• Most encoders can output color bar and grayscale test patterns.
• Most decoders can output color bar, grayscale, alternating pixels, aspect crop
lines, and crosshatch test patterns.
