Hand router and template Recommended method — use the 7" TouchLink Pro and TouchLink routing template, part number 70-980-01, which is available at www.extron.com. Follow the instructions provided in the Routing Template User Guide, available at www.extron.com. NOTE: The metal router guide must be purchased separately. It is reusable and should not be discarded when the installation is complete.
Preparing AAP Modules If required, AAPs must be purchased separately. Go to www.extron.com to see the full range of AAPs that are available. Secure up to three single space AAPs in the AAP Frame, using the #4-40 nut with captive washer provided with the AAP (figure 8, If required, fill any unused spaces with blank AAP plates.
Installing Modules The TLP Pro 725C has three triple spaces available for installing modules. If cable retractors are installed, they should occupy one of the end spaces. There is no preferred order for the power module, cable pass-through module, or AAP module. If required, AAPs, retractors, and power modules must be purchased separately.
Secure the module in position with #6-32 Phillips head screws and star washers (see figure , on the previous page). This is especially important for the power modules (see “Special Considerations for Power Modules” below). NOTE: Different countries require different power adapters. See www.extron.com select a power module that is suitable for your location.
Mounting the TLP Pro 725C Enclosure Once the enclosure is permanently mounted, the button (see figure , on Menu page 17) and the LAN/PoE port ( ) are under the table and may be difficult to access. Installing Cable Retractors (Optional) Extron cable retractors retract and neatly store cables in Cable Cubby systems, preventing them from tangling underneath the table. Retractor kits are available for many cable types. Up to six retractors can be installed in the TLP Pro 725C enclosure (three on each end). They are not provided with the touchpanel and must be purchased separately.

Network Verify with your network administrator whether the IP address for the touchpanel is assigned by Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) or set manually. Touchpanel Web Page There is a single, read-only page that provides general and network information about the unit (see figure 16, below). It also allows you to upgrade the unit firmware. Use the Setup Menu (see page 19) or Toolbelt to configure the touchpanel network settings. To access the touchpanel default web page, enter the IP address of the touchpanel into the web browser of a PC connected to the same subnet.
Updating the Firmware Firmware for the TLP Pro 725 series touchpanels can be upgraded using Toolbelt or the touchpanel web page. Reset All IP Settings This mode resets all IP settings to factory defaults.
