Setting When to Deactivate the Perfect Binder
Energy Saver Mode
You can set whether to automatically deactivate the Energy Saver
mode of the optional Perfect Binder-B1 when the Energy Saver mode
of the main unit is deactivated.
IMPORTANT
The End the Perfect Binder Energy Saver Mode is available only if the
optional Perfect Binder-B1 is attached.

➞ [Common Settings] ➞ [End the Perfect Binder
Press
Energy Saver Mode].

Select [Sync. with Main Unit] or [Do Not Sync. with Main
Unit] ➞ press [OK].
Details of each item are shown below.
[Sync. with Main Unit]: The Energy Saver mode of the Perfect Binder
is automatically deactivated when the Energy Saver mode of the main
unit is deactivated.
[Do Not Sync. with Main Unit]: The Energy Saver mode of the Perfect
Binder is not deactivated when the Energy Saver mode of the main
unit is deactivated. Press the Energy Saver key of the Perfect Binder
to cancel its Energy Saver mode.

Erasing the Remaining Toner Error Message

You can erase the Remaining Toner Error Message screen, which is
displayed when the remaining toner is low, if Display Remaining
Toner Error Message in System Settings (from the Additional
Functions screen) is set to 'On'.
NOTE
[Erase Remaining Toner Error Message] is displayed only if Display
Remaining Toner Error Message in System Settings (from the Additional
Functions screen) is set to 'On'. (See "Displaying the Remaining Toner
Error Message," on p. A6-34.)

➞ [Common Settings] ➞ [Erase Remaining Toner
Press
Error Message].

Press [Yes].
The Remaining Toner Error Message screen will be displayed again
when a different colour toner becomes low.
