Press [Change] next to <Gloss Adjustment>.

Press [-] or [+] to adjust the gloss ➞ press [OK].
Press [+] to increase the gloss, and press [-] to decrease the gloss.
Press [±] to switch from a positive to a negative value.

Press [Done].
Adjusting the Paper Separation Fan Level of a
Custom Paper Type
You can adjust the paper separation fan level of a custom paper type.
This setting is applied to the paper that is loaded in the paper decks of
the main unit, the optional POD Deck, and Paper Deck.
IMPORTANT
• [Paper Separation Fan Level] is displayed only if the settings are made
available by your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if [Paper Separation
Fan Level] is displayed, do not allow anyone to change the settings except
for the system manager. For more information on changing the settings,
contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
• Only user-registered paper types can be edited.
NOTE
You cannot change the detailed information of paper being used for
copying/printing jobs.

Press
Settings].

Select the paper type that you want to edit from the list ➞
press [Details/Edit].
