The perfect binding operation has been canceled because the paper has jammed.
The operation may be possible if you perform curl correction.
Cause Since the paper of the printed main document or a cover had curled
more than specified value, perfect binding could not be performed.
The specified value are as follows:
- Height of curl: Less than
- Length of curl: More than 50 mm.
Length of Curl:
More than 50 mm
Remedy Adjust the curl correction level of currently using paper source (See "Curl
Correction for Each Paper Source," on p. A4-77.), or change the level of
curl correction of currently using paper type. (See "Adjusting the Level of
Curl Correction of a Custom Paper Type," on p. A6-101.)
If the curl cannot be corrected within the specified range by following the
adjustment above, load other paper type into the paper source.
Before performing perfect bookbinding, we recommend you to check the
curl state of a paper.
You need to print out the main document and a cover to the finisher or
stacker, and check that curl is within the specified value.
This number has not been registered. Enter the number again.
Cause The department ID and password you entered are not registered.
Remedy Contact the system manager of your department for the correct
department ID and password.

List of Error Codes without Messages

If a job or operation does not complete successfully, check the error
code, and perform the necessary operations according to the error
code displayed. You can check the error code on the Details screen
under [Log] from the System Monitor screen. (See "Job Details,"
on p. A5-12.)
If a send or receive job does not complete successfully, the error code
is printed in the Results column on the Activity Report and Send
Report. However, if a send job is cancelled, "STOP" is printed in the
Results column on the Send report. (See Chapter 11, "Printing
Communication Reports," in the Sending Guide.)
Perform the necessary procedures according to the error code.

Cause 1 A paper jam occurred in the feeding slot of the stack bypass.
Remedy Place your originals, specify the scanning mode, and try scanning again.
Cause 2 Differently sized originals were scanned, and the Different Size Originals
mode was not set.
Remedy Place your originals, specify the Different Size Originals mode, and try
scanning again.
Cause 3 Differently sized originals were scanned in the 2-Sided mode, and the
Different Size Originals mode was not set.
Remedy Place your originals, specify the 2-Sided and Different Size Originals
modes, and try scanning again.
