Irregular Paper Size Settings

You can store an irregular paper size in a Size key ([S1] to [S5]), that
can be selected when you press [Irreg. Size] on a paper selection
screen. There are five Size keys to use for selecting irregular paper
sizes for the paper deck, the stack bypass, the sheet inserter, and the
finishing size of the optional Perfect Binder-B1 (for a total of 15 Size
keys), and they can be assigned names for increased convenience.
This mode is useful for storing and editing frequently used irregular
paper sizes.

Box Guide.
IMPORTANT
• Depending on the optional equipment that is attached, the button name of
[Paper Deck/Sheet Inserter] differ as follows:

• [Sheet Inserter of the Perfect Binder] is displayed only if the optional
Document Insertion Unit-C1 is attached to the optional Perfect Binder-B1.
• [Perfect Binding Finishing Size] is displayed only if the optional Perfect
Binder-B1 is attached to the machine.
NOTE
The irregular paper size settings stored in memory are not erased, even if
you turn OFF the machine's power.

Registering and Editing Irregular Paper Sizes

Size].

Press [Stack Bypass], [Sheet Inserter of the Perfect Binder],
or [Perfect Binding Finishing Size].
Details of each item are shown below.
[Paper Deck/Sheet Inserter] (or [Paper Deck], [Paper Deck/Stack
Bypass]): Register the irregular paper sizes to use for the paper deck,
stack bypass, and sheet inserter attached to the finisher.
[Sheet Inserter of the Perfect Binder]: Register the irregular sizes to
use for the sheet inserter attached to the perfect binder.
[Perfect Binding Finishing Size]: Register the irregular paper sizes to
use for the finishing size of the optional Perfect Binder-B1.

Select a Size key ([S1] to [S5]) to register or edit an irregular
paper size ➞ press [Register/Edit].
NOTE
• Size keys that already have settings stored in them are displayed with a
coloured triangle ( ) in the lower right corner of the key.
• If you select a size key that already has settings stored in it, the settings are
displayed.
• The following paper sizes are registered in Size keys [S1] to [S3] for
[Perfect Binding Finishing Size] by default. You can also change the
registered paper sizes.
- [A4](S1): [X] 210.0 mm, [Y] 297.0 mm
- [A5](S2): [X] 148.0 mm, [Y] 210.0 mm
- [COM](S3): [X] 177.8 mm, [Y] 228.6 mm
