4.4.2 Establishing a WiFi Connection

The WiFi option allows the device to be connection to a wireless network to export reports,
screen shots, or job tickets (using FTP), or update the device's firmware.
NOTE
The CX100 supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi.
4.4.2.1
Adding a WiFi Network Profile
The CX100 can save up to 32 WiFi network profiles. If an access point does not broadcast
a Service Set Identifier (SSID), a WiFi profile can be created manually. The device will save
the profile, then automatically authenticate and establish a connection to the network when
the following conditions are met:
Network connectivity is enabled.
The network's access point is in range.
The network is determined to provide the best available access point (based on
signal strength and/or encryption supported).
NOTE
The CX100 automatically saves a WiFi network profile after successfully connecting to
the WiFi network.
To Add a WiFi Network Profile
1.
Enable network connectivity on the CX100.
