Secondary Database via USB Flash Drive

L100 Blade supports secondary database via USB flash drive. The USB flash drive provides secondary storage of
the OSL and database in real time. Secondary storage of the database helps to reduce database corruption.
Database corruption is raised when both the primary and secondary databases are corrupted; otherwise, the NE
recovers from the valid database. If the NE detects that the primary database is corrupted, the NE automatically
transfers and recovers the database using the secondary database stored in the USB flash drive. If the NE detects
that the secondary database is corrupted, the Main blade automatically overwrites and backs up the secondary
storage with the primary database.
Note: USB flash drive is supported on the Main blade only (L100 Blade). USB flash drive is not supported for
tributary blades (L100 or L110 Blade).
■ The USB flash drive for secondary database can either be:
• Fujitsu preferred supplier
• User-supplied own USB flash drive
■ Recommended:
• Operating temperature: 0...50 °C
• NAND type: SLC
• Flammability: UL94-V0 or higher
• Regulations: VCCI/CE/FCC/Class B, RoHS, ESD
