1. Check the local and upstream SFP modules for removal
or failure.
2. Check the fiber link and perform trouble-clearing
procedures, as necessary.
3. Verify the local receive and remote transmit optical
levels.
4. Verify good optical connections to the local and far-end
SFP modules.
