For some timed parameters, Threshold Crossing Alerts (TCAs) are generated when the PM count exceeds a
preset threshold. For other timed parameters, thresholds are not supported, and these registers can hold up to

–1 counts before automatically rolling back to a value of 1 when the maximum count is exceeded.
The current timed registers store the number of events within their specified time limits and forward that
information to the first previous register before they are initialized, for example, information from the first
previous register is passed on to the second previous register and information from the second previous register
is passed on to the third previous register. Information from the last previous register is discarded.
