Network Status Indicators

ViewStation SP User Guide
Each time the ViewStation SP is powered on, Network icons are
displayed below the Video Call icon on the Main Calling screen.
The Network icon flashes a yellow numbered box while the
ViewStation SP is validating ISDN lines or is waiting for the DHCP
server (if used) to assign it an IP address. If the ViewStation SP uses
a static or fixed IP address, the ViewStation SP verifies the IP is not
in use.

Green Up Arrow
Yellow Box
Red Down Arrow
Meaning
Network line is OK.
The ViewStation SP is ready to place a video call.
The ViewStation SP is checking the status of the
network line.
Network line failed to validate:
The ISDN or LAN cable is not connected to the
network, or is not functioning properly. Check the
cable connection, contact your Network Manager
or see "Network and Communications," on page
140
