On the other hand, when the DEAF function is activated, the equalizer is able to compensate the channel
distortion and the resulting Eb/N0 is higher (18 dB in this case, which represents a gain of 14 dB). That can be
seen on the constellation plot, where the ISI is minimized and what is left is mostly due to the AWGN noise.
Since the DEAF algorithm is adaptive, it takes some time to converge to a solution for the channel, depending of
the type of distortion and on the SNR of the received signal. Once convergence is achieved, the filter solution
can be saved using the extracommand "Save filter": that allows avoiding waiting the next time the same signal
will be acquired.
