Channel encoding value
Each channel is assigned a binary value. The corresponding decimal value
is transmitted.
Interface
Any connection point through which data can be transmitted or which can
be connected to the devices.
Serial
A standardized transmission mode where data is transfered bit by bit
between a transmission and a reception device.
Syntax
A specified sequence of characters in which commands, parameters and
switches must be entered.
