For each newly installed valve:

Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the rotor adjustment
a
shaft counterclockwise until it stops, then back it off a
small amount (< 1 mm) to set one end of the rotor's
motion.
b Tighten the adjustment set screw.
7 Install the detector cover.
8 Restore normal operating condition.
